I coloured Teddy by colouring with alcohol markers by doing lots of dots in different colours, then going over the whole area with a pale orange/yellow.

The snowflakes are made using a paper punch.  Why not pop over and enter the challenge and browse the online shop.

sorry you are leaving for my friend

Here's a card i made for my friend who has left work to spend less stressful time at home, sewing, card making, baking and spending time with her Grand children, we will all miss her so much.
The base of the card is from a Hunkydory kit, i then die cut some buttons and Tattered lace flowers, then for the centre of the flower i punched out 6 flowers with a paper punch, poked a hole through the centre and pushed a brad through, sprayed them with water then scrunched them up and very gently unscrunched slightly and left them to dry.

I have had a go at knitting some mittens now that the weather is getting colder, not hard to knit and only took 50 grams of wool, knitted on 2 needles.

Hi today i am posting some Atc's i made with the theme Autumn on the Craft, Chat, Share and Care, i have been taking part in their Atc swaps for several months now and i am getting quite a collection, the idea's people come up with are great.
for any of you that don't know what Atc's are they are miniature pieces of art 2 and a half by 3 and a half inch about the size of trading cards, they are made to be swapped with other Atc makers.

Hi i had a go at making some flowers with a die, all of the petals are individual and glued to a centre piece then layered up.  The white one has the centre end of the petals coloured pink with Promarkers.  The die is Spellbinders create a gerber daisy.  i have since bought a Woodware paper punch which does similar flowers.  i will take more pics next time i make one showing in detail and also the paper punch.  Full of cold and also in a lot of pain with my Fibromyalgia, bye for now.

Tuesday, 16 September 2014

Morning everyone, i have been having a play with some of the new Autumn/halloween collection at Dragons Lair Designs soon to be released.

I printed off the Pumpkin paper which i love, the colours and design are gorgeous, also some of the elements, i slotted the paper clip under the paper and backed the paper in yellow and red card and stuck my buttons on with 3d foam pads to raise them off the paper.

I then added a die cut tree from my collection, the other buttons and cut out the witch, cat and owl topper and mounted on 3d foam pads all from the Dragons lair designs.

PROJECT NUMBER 2

For this project a bit of recycling, i brushed some PVA onto the jar and wound some cheap string around.

I then added some buttons and star from the Autumn/halloween collection and tied some ribbon around the top, a lovely pen pot for my craft table.

PROJECT NUMBER 3

For my 3rd project i made some tags, i cut some tag shapes from card then recycled some cardboard by gently tearing off the top coating to reveal the corrugation, added some Plasterers scrim from my Husbands tool box, then printed out my elements from the collection and cut them out, the bows at the top look very effective and no tying involved, they were attached by adding a small dot of PVA to hold in place then stapled, the 3rd tag also has a die cut swirl on,  This collection is wonderful, why not pop over and have a look at the other goodies in store.

Here is my rearranged craft room, bit tidier, my desks and shelves were all freebies, my craft room was a kitchen when my Mum was with us, i decided to turn it into a craft room, also has a sink in it, the kitchen units have some of my Husbands bits and pieces in so no room in them at the moment, now for some crafting, thanks for looking.

Morning, heres a card i made for a challenge with the theme buttons and bows.  The rubber stamp is a Crafters Companion, Scruffy Little cat stamp her name is Niamh.  I stamped and coloured her with Promarkers,  mat and layered it onto card and paper from my scrap box then added a strip of ribbon across the bottom, tied 2 bows on my Bowmaker, 3 buttons and in the middle is a bow i made from more scrap paper.

I am having a big tidy up and move around in my craft room, maybe i will then find things, at the moment i can't see the floor haha and boy do i keep some recycling junk, my Husband is so used to it he is always coming in with bits and pieces he has found, he brought me a great storage cupboard from freegle and old school drawer unit they were throwing out, pics to follow as soon as i can it's taking me ages and i keep seeing things oooh thatswhere that went, didn't even know i had that, just stop and make something with that, well bye for now, brekie and off to tidy a bit more, be back soon.

Dawn Bibby had the pattern for this bag on her facebook page, so here is my version.  it was knitted on large needles 6.5mm with 2 strands of white cotton yarn and one strand of beige ribbon type yarn which had a cotton feel to it.  So thank you to Dawn for the pattern.

Just Chillin

Hi everyone, i have made a card with Deedee's Digi of the month "So Cool", i used Papermania pastel paper for the background and scored a piece of acetate, added paper punched snowflakes and diamante stones and sandwiched the one half of the acetate under the backing papers so that the acetate would stick out,  also used silver card, fabric padded stars, lace and adhesive trim.
I love this image the penguin is so cute, why not join in with Deedee's digi of the month.

Monday, 26 May 2014

Hi what a lovely sunny morning at the moment after such an awful wet day yesterday.
I made this bracelet with elastic bands on a Rainbow loom, i love all the colours.

and this is a dishcloth made from cotton yarn which i have had in my stash waiting to be used for many years, how much more attractive than a disposable dishcloth.
