two octopus that i crochet, ready to send off to a new home with premature babies in need of a cuddle friend, it is a charity that send them to hospitals where premature babies are in incubators, they help the babies by calming them and they like to grasp the tentacles in their little hands.

my latest cushion cover

hi everyone what a gorgeous day it was here today.  i have finished another cushion using the Eclipse crochet pattern designed by Hooked on sunshine.

Easter

 Had a busy Easter with my Grandson Alex, while Mummy was working, and my hairy Grandson Scrappy while his Mummy and Daddy were on honeymoon, oh and work in between myself.

But i still managed to finish my Momentary Eclipse cushion cover designed by Vanessa Philips.

this months crochet and knitted projects

 just finished my crochet along blanket designed by Jane Crowfoot, love the colours and pattern, it is the sunshine and showers pattern which was published in parts in Crochet now magazine.

my slither of snakes posted off in aid of Alzeimers research.  now working on poppies for the Devon county show in remembrance of the brave people from world war one that lost their lives and also an octopus for preemie babies in incubators.

 finished this months part of my crochet along blanket, love this blanket, the colours are great, Jane Crowfoots pattern from Crochet Now magazine.  One more part to go.

broomstick crochet scarf

morning all, nice dry morning, hint of blue sky and birds singing, heard a woodpecker while i was putting washing out.  Heres my latest crochet project that i have finished a wrap around scarf done in broomstick crochet, i love the colours.

up to date with the Moorland crochet Along blanket, i am loving the colours, starting to go into the blues now for the sky, i have to keep fighting off the dog, he keeps lying on it bless him.

here is my blanket so far, i am loving the colours of it, it is the Moorland blanket crochet along designed by Lucy from Attic24.  It has been designed by the inspiring colours of a photo of the moorlands.

Dragons lair designs challenge January 2017

Here is my first blog of the new year, so wishing you all a Happy New Year, i am looking forward to lots of crafting this year.
For my first blog i have made a junk journal, i plan to do lots of journaling this year with lots of crafty idea's and sketches.  This one is for a challenge on  Dragons lair Designs challenge blog           "New beginnings" i used a digi kit from the Dragons Lair online store Simply Masculine Page kit.  The base journal is made from recycled envelopes, the backing paper is also a recycled envelope, the ribbon is off some Christmas crackers and the calender tab is from a unused calender tab.
